What We Accept
Clothes
We accept clothing that is in good condition for men, women, and children including shirts, pants, jackets, coats, shoes, socks, and accessories.
Money
We accept cash or check donations in the donation jar at the store. Checks can also be mailed to 825 Elmwood Dr, Shelby, NC 28152.
Other Items
Donations of items like furniture can be sold in our store to help support operational expenses. We also accept non perishable food and toiletries.
Volunteers
We rely on volunteer support to keep the store operating. We welcome individuals or groups who want to volunteer time at the store serving our community.

Become a Collection Spot
When you choose to become a collection spot for the Totally Free Clothing Store, you make donating even easier to people throughout our community. This in turn allows more people to be served. Collection spots may have a designated donation box for items or a donation jar for money.
Invite Us to Speak
We welcome any opportunity to speak to church or business groups about our 501(c)(3) organization. We appreciate every opportunity allowed to us to spread the word about how we help the community and how more people can get involved. Learn more about our mission and goals.
Mobile Clothes Ministry
Totally Free Clothing Store is very excited to have a Mobile Clothes Ministry. We partner with area locations who welcome us to set up on a specific date and time to bring a portion of our clothes from the store to other parts of the community. This is meant to make accessing free clothes easier for people who need them. Let us know if you want to host our Mobile Clothes Ministry at your church or business.
